We got sent some lovely chilli oil from the guys at the Chilli Oil Company, and we thought we needed to do something simple to try it out using some left over pizza toppings from last week.
We got the griddle going to grill some jarred artichokes and the chorizo on a high heat, but a dry frying pan would be equally good.
Combine with some toasted sourdough (always in our Waitrose reduced section!) some reduced olives or sundried tomatoes from the deli, and a dash of oil or whatever you think would go well!
Our favorite of the oils we got sent was the Habenero chilli oil, which seemed to me more than just a "spicy oil", it smelled lovely and was strong and smoky without being too overpowering. Our bottle is nearly finished- Thanks guys!
